Porque às vezes trazer um pouco de atitude masculina à nossa vida não é mau...

 

Because at times fashion can bring out much deeper matters... In light of these awesome menswear inspired pinstripe pants by FrontRow Shop, here are some thoughts on what us ladys could learn from the male gender.

Once I read a quote by Maya Angelou that said "I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch. You've got to go out and kick ass"... Which is spot on! As little girls, we are often told to go and try to do the best we can - yet always managing to stay humble. I feel like when we grow up, we are almost too humble and are ashamed of admitting we're good at something! Maybe it's just my perception, but I don't think men have this behaviour.

So why should we? Seriously, it couldn't hurt to show a little more pride in ourselfs. Because let's admit it right here - women are pretty awesome!! Xoxo to all the lovely ladies reading me from that side of the screen, don't ever bring yourself down!

Porque às vezes a moda pode dar aso a matérias muito mais profundas... À luz destas fantásticas calças de inspiração masculina da FrontRow Shop, aqui estão alguns pensamento acerca do que nós mulheres podíamos aprender do género masculino.

Uma vez li uma citação da Maya Angelou que dizia, mais coisa menos coisa, "I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch. You've got to go out and kick ass" (Adoro ver uma jovem rapariga a agarrar o mundo pela lapela. A vida é difícil. Tens que ir e arrasar)... O que acerta exactamente no ponto chave! Enquanto rapariguinhas, dizem-nos muitas vezes que devemos dar sempre o nosso melhor - mas manter-nos humildes. E tenho a sensação de que quando crescemos nos tornamos demasiado humiles, muitas vezes envergonhadas de admitir que somos boas em algo! Talvez seja apenas a minha percepção, mas não acho que os homens tenham este comportamento.

Daí que, porque havemos nós de o ter? A sério, não faz mal nenhum mostrar algum orgulho em nós e no que fazemos. Porque, admitamos já aqui - as mulheres são o máximo!! Um beijinho às mulheres que me lêem desse lado, nunca se desvalorizem!

Outfit | The pink coat

Last but not least, the bright pink coat... It's this season's it item ladies!

E por último, o casaco rosa... É o item desta estação meninas!

The last outfit from my Bright Winter Coats Series is finally here... And it features a hot pink coat! Even though many of you will say the it colour is baby pink, I'll say that pink in general had quite a comeback this year - so why not wear it in all shades possible?? (I'm still on the hunt for a baby pink coat though!)

For this outfit, I paired the bright colour with neutral earthy tones... They're my favourite colour pallet and I feel like people always drive away from them for some reason. Don't! Seriously, whether you go lighter or darker in shades, there's always some kind of beigish brown that works for your skin colour. Big plus? You can escape from the black sea that invades fashion during Winter!

O último conjunto da minha Série Casacos de Inverno Coloridos finalmente chegou.... E conta com um casaco rosa-choque! Apesar de a cor desta estação ser rosa-bebé, na minha opinião todos os tons de rosa fizeram um valente regresso à moda este ano - daí, porque não usar e abusar de todas elas?? (Mesmo assim, continuo à caça de um bom casaco num rosa mais discreto!)

Para este conjunto, conjuguei a cor viva com tons terra mais neutros... São a minha palete preferida e tenho pena que muitas pessoas por alguma razão fujam deles. Não façam isso! A sério, quer usem um tom mais claro ou um mais escuro, de certeza que há algum tipo de bege acastanhado que funciona para o vosso tom de pele. Grande vantagem? Escapam ao mar de pretos que invade a moda durante o Inverno!
