I have sad news dear readers: I am taking a break from the blog.

There will be no posts during August.

Why? Because...

In a few days I am leaving for an amazing journey: an interrail in Europe. It will last a whole month.

I will be in Bruges, Brussels, Budapest, Florence, Munich, Prague, Rome, Salzburg, Venice and Wien.

I am truly sorry but I won't have the means to keep you update on this adventure directly.

However, I will be back in September and I truly hope you're still there

so I can share the experience with you!

That being said, any advice on these cities? Anything really: museums, restaurants, shops...

Let me know, you are always so helpful! Thank you very much and see you in September!

Tenho notícias tristes: vou fazer uma pausa do blogue.

Não vão haver quaisquer posts durante o mês de Agosto.

Porquê? Porque...

Dentro de alguns dias parto para uma viagem fantástica: um interrail na Europa. Um mês inteiro.

Vou estar em Bruges, Bruxelas, Budapeste, Florença, Munique, Praga, Roma, Salzburgo, Veneza e Viena.

Peço imensa desculpa mas não vou conseguir manter-vos actualizados em directo.

No entanto, em Setembro estarei de volta e espero sinceramente que aí estejam ainda

para que possa partilhar a experiência convosco!

Dito isto, alguma dica quanto a estas cidades? Qualquer coisa: monumentos, restaurantes, lojas...

Excitement&Fear. Do you know that feeling when you order something you love online, but then can't help but thinking how it will look on you? And fear it is not the best? Well, that was what happened to me and this bathing suit. I seriously wondered whether or not to get it... But now I'm so excited I did. Not only does it look amazing as a bathing suit, it can also be worn as a bustier as I'm showing you (I have a weird thing of wearing bathing suits as tops, remember this?). So, do you like it? Entusiasmo&Medo. Conhecem aquela sensação de adorar uma peça online, mas não conseguir deixar de pensar se nos ficará bem? Foi isso que aconteceu comigo e com este fato-de-banho e estive quase paar não o pedir... Mas agora estou muito entusiasmada por o ter feito! Não só fica fantástico como fato-de-banho propriamente dito, como ainda pode ser usado como bustier tal como vos mostro aqui (tenho uma mania estranha de usar fatos-de-banho como tops, lembram-se deste?). Keeping it simple. Throughout these months of blogging, you certainly have already noticed that I'm not a complex kind of person when it comes to my personal style. I prefer to keep it down to the basics and - to my deepest sadness - I barely accessorize. Therefore, when I thought of how I wanted to style this amazing graphic printed dress from Primark (a steal at 11€!), I decided I wanted to keep it really really minimalist. For this one, it's all about the dress.

Manter-me simples. Ao longo destes meses de blogue certamente já repararam que sou uma pessoa bastante simples no que toca ao meu estilo. Prefiro os básicos a roupas muito complicadas e - para grande tristeza minha - quase não acessorizo. E é por ser assim que a única conjugação possível para este vestido com estampado gráfico da Primark (uma pechincha por 11€!), para mim, é um look mesmo mesmo minimalista. Neste conjunto, o vestido é a estrela!

Up in the air. Isn't it just so cool to take jumping pictures? I have always loved the movement vibe it gives to images... I even love the puffy hair and the awkward leg poses. The only thing I don't like all that much is how stupid my face looks, but you can't have everything. I wore this outfit to go for a day in the city, have lunch, shop, the usual stuff... I really missed a non-heeled, bare legs, casual outfit, didn't you?

No ar. Não é o máximo tirar fotografias a saltar? Eu sempre adorei o movimento que dá às imagens... Até ao cabelo esvoaçante e às poses de pernas estranhas acho graça. Só não gosto tanto das caras esquisitas que faço a saltar mas, bem, não se pode ter tudo. Usei este conjunto para ir passar um dia à baixa de Lisboa, almoçar e compras, o costume... Já estava com saudades de um conjunto sem saltos, de perna descoberta e verdadeiramente casual... Hábitos antigos persistem! E vocês, gostam?

Countryside in the city. I have to admit that even though I am a big town kinda girl, I adore the countryside. My mother's family lives in the countryside and going there in the Summer was something I looked forward to ever since I was a little girl. To me, this dress combines the countryside and the city perfectly: the pattern is perfect to stroll down a blossomed field, but the open back gives it an appeal that makes it city appropriate. Ahh, what can I say? I'm in Love indeed... Isn't it just great?

Campo na cidade. Apesar de adorar a minha vida numa grande cidade, também gosto muito do campo. A família da minha mãe vive no campo e desde pequena que lá vou passar uns dias nas férias de Verão. E talvez seja por esta divisão de gostos que este vestido me chamou tanto a atenção. Para mim, ele combina na perfeição o campo e a cidade: o padrão é perfeito para um passeio por campos verdejantes mas as costas abertas dão-lhe um toque moderno que o torna igualmente apropriado à cidade. Ahh, o que posso dizer? I'm in Love.

Love at first sight. When I saw these shorts for the first time I told myself: "No Mariana. No no no, you have way too many shorts". But then I couldn't help it, they are just so gorgeous... Do any of you also have these strange feelings towards clothing or is it just me?
