Outfit | Easy Tangerine

I love how sometimes the most simple styles look the best - for me, simplicty is an art when it comes to fashion!

Sadly, I feel like nowadays people are giving into temptation to go overboard with their looks. Don't get me wrong,

pulling off crazy stylings and making it look good is just as hard... The problem is that most people just don't do

crazy the right way (I'm sorry if I'm being politically incorrect here but some outfits just don't make any sense...

Unless you're dressing up for a costumes party). And if you ask me, standing out in a simple look is a zillion times

harder - and better! Quoting the one and only Coco Chanel: “Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance” ...

And after all that I'm even scare do ask: do you like my look? I know I do, it's my favourite in a while!!

Adoro como às vezes são os conjuntos mais simples que ficam melhor - para mim, simplicidade é uma arte no que

toca à moda! Infelizmente, hoje em dia as pessoas cedem à tentação de exagerar no que vestem. Não me interpretem

mal, vestir-se mais crazy e conseguir estar bem é igualmente difícil... O problema é que muitas pessoas perderam

um pouco a noção (desculpem se estou a ser politicamente incorrecta mas alguns conjuntos que vejo por aí não têm

pés nem cabeça!!). Na minha opinião, destacar-se com roupas simples é um milhão de vezes mais difícil - e melhor!

Citando a Coco Chanel: "Simplicidade é a chave de toda a verdadeira elegância"... E depois disto tudo até tenho

medo de perguntar: gostaram do look? Eu adorei, é o meu preferido de há uns tempos para cá!

Long road. It's true, this is already the 100th post with an outfit tag... It seems like it was yesterday that I started out this blog, and yet it is has been almost one year! I'm not going to say it has always been easy, because it hasn't: sometimes I can't find the time to go shoot, other times there is noone available to shoot me and there are even the ones where I don't feel like shooting. Nevertheless, I think I've been doing quite a good job in keeping this blog updated. Thank you all for being there... and I hope you're still there to see the next hundred!

Estrada longa.  É verdade, este já é o centésimo post com a etiqueta outfit... Parece que foi ontem que criei este blog e no entanto ele já caminha para um ano de existência! Não vou dizer que é sempre fácil, porque não é: às vezes não tenho tempo para fotografar, outras ninguém me pode ir fotografar e confesso que ainda existem aquelas em que simplesmente não me apetece. Mas penso que tenho arranjado sempre maneira de manter este cantinho minimamente actualizado, e actualizado com qualidade. Obrigada a todos por estarem desse lado, e espero que para os próximos cem se mantenham aí!

Lenght games. The minute I laid my eyes on these pants (which are so so me: Miss Tangerine anyone?) I knew they were the perfect match for this wonderful top I bought at H&m sales... I love how the different lenghts of the pieces go together and really compliment each other. That being said, I wore this outfit to celebrate the beginnig of my half holidays... one more exam to go and then it's Summer time!!

Jogos de comprimento. Assim que vi estas calças (que são mesmo a minha cara: Miss Tangerine não é por acaso!) soube que tinha que as conjugar com este top dos saldos da H&M... Adoro como os diferentes comprimentos se complementam. Dito isto, usei este conjunto para celebrar o início das minhas meias férias... só mais um exame e depois começa oficialmente o meu Verão!!

Colour blocking. Finally, I'm showing you the outfit with the oasap orange chiffon top. The reason I kept it such a secret is because I think it's quite an enexpected combination... I decided to colour block it with some purple skirt and accesories! Which brings me to my next surprise: I'm doing a series on party outfits! I've noticed the blog has so much casual wear, that I decided to glam it up a bit, so during the next couple of weeks you'll see some outfits that I consider party basics. So, "is colour blocking a party basic?", you ask me... well it kind of is: you know how everyone wears black at parties? One way to stand out for sure is to go colour all the way!

Blocos de cor. Finalmente, mostro-vos o conjunto com o top laranja da oasap. Mantive este conjunto debaixo de tanto secretismo porque acho que é uma combinação bastante inesperada... decidi conjugar o laranja com uma saia e acessórios em roxo! O que me leva à minha próxima surpresa: vou fazer uma série de conjuntos de festa! Tenho notado que o blogue se baseia muito em conjuntos casuais, então decidi aperaltá-lo um pouco e mostrar-vos o que considero básicos festivos. "Então cor é um básico festivo?", perguntam-me agora... para mim sim: sabem como toda a gente usa preto para as festas? Uma maneira de ser diferente é usar e abusar da cor!

Holidays. My Christmas break officialy started today! Even though I have to study to catch up, I really hope I can find some time to work on the blog. If anyone feels like suggesting some post themes please do so, I appreciate it! Regarding the outfit, I just want to say that with the freezing cold that decided to show up here in Lisbon it feels oh so good to jump into some big sweaters! This is one of my favourites, and I love to match the baby blue with some warmer colours like this rusty orange.

Festividades. Estou oficialmente de férias! Ainda que tenha que estudar para pôr a matéria em dia, espero conseguir ter algum tempo para continuar a trabalhar no blog. Se alguém quiser deixar sugestões de posts esteja completamente à vontade para dizer, eu agradeço! E quanto ao conjunto, com o frio que tem assolado a cidade de Lisboa sabe tão bem saltar para dentro de um camisolão de lã gigante como este! Este é um dos meus preferidos, e adoro conjugar o seu azul bebé com cores mais quentes como este laranja ferrugento.
